@rodarape@gmail.com I have tested this on newest version 6.6.6+241002 and I could import survey participants from csv file.
What I did:

  1. Create an closed-access survey and a couple of participants.
  2. Export survey participants to csv file.
  3. Deleted users and deactivated survey (see screenshot) - it says all participant information will be lost anyway.
  4. Activate survey.
  5. Import survey participants from csv file.

I also did it differently where I didn't delete users, then I could recover them from the table (see second screenshot).

Can you provide me some more information since I still can not reproduce the issue.
Please write step by step what you are doing.
There is a table which stores details on all archived tables. If there is no related entry that message is shown (Import failed / There is no matching ...).

Thanks for your message !

You are right, I can't reproduce failing neither (steps 1 to 10), but if I go on with integrity check (without any confirmation) see step 10 to 14 the same restoring fails.
I also observed that if i work on a never activated survey in closed access mode and I do an integrity check (without further confirmation for delete) my participant table gets deleted and restoring fails.
I don't know how to prevent this without stopping integrity check.
Perhaps this is normal because LS can't distinguish between a never activated and a deactivated survey.

  1. create a survey
  2. go to participant table (click on Participant in side panel) and switch to closed-access mode
  3. click on "continue" button
  4. Add one participant editing Lastname, Firstname, email and save
  5. Delete participants table
  6. Click again on Participant (in side panel)
  7. select old_tokens12345 ..
  8. Restore button
  9. It worked ! OK strange for me .... (You are right can't reproduce)
  10. But if I launch Configuration -> Data integrity check (with non further confirmation)
  11. Click again on Participant (in side panel)
  12. select old_tokens12345 ..
  13. Restore button
  14. The "Import failed, There are no matching settings to start the restoration of the participant table" reappears.

Thanks for further help or explanation.
