Description

Dear LimeSurvey crew,

In my LimeSurvey setup, non-superadmin users cannot add other users to their surveys, as no users or groups appear on the list to be added.

I have tried adding more permissions (see specific role.png attachment) but it still doesn't work.

Can you help? In my organization, this is fundamental, as the surveys are edited in teams.

Go to a owned survey Settings > Survey Permissions (surveyPermissions/index?surveyid=) without superadmin privileges

Expected result

User list appears and the user is able to add other users to their surveys

Actual result

No user list appears and nobody can be added, even if the username is inserted manually.

I think we made this like that because of security reasons. Non-superadmin users can add other users and user groups to a survey, but those users and user groups need to be created by them and not by someone else.

@DenisChenu please correct me if I am wrong.

Same group : https://www.limesurvey.org/manual/Global_settings/en#Security

Group member can only see own group: By default, non-admin users defined in the LimeSurvey management interface will only be able to see other users if they belong to at least one common group. If the administrator sets this to 'No', then the users can see all the users defined in the LimeSurvey User Control panel, regardless of the group they belong to
